About this event:

With cool temperatures and brisk winds there were 18 teams that competed in the 24 th Annual National Stearman Foundation Golf Outing on May 1 st at Lake Bracken Country Club.

Preceding the 1:00 p.m. shotgun start, participants were enthusiastically greeted by an incredible Stearman flyover by Phillip Wolford in the Jet Air Stearman. He defied the odds of 30 mph wind gusts
and filled the sky with smoke and noise. As the golfers arrived at each hole, they were met with an incredible display of “Hole Sponsor” signs from local businesses, individuals, and Stearman community
members.

At the completion of the tournament, an excellent buffet dinner of fried chicken and fried catfish was served. Prizes were awarded to the first and second place teams in three flights with additional pin
events for both men and women. Door prizes were distributed including a variety of Stearman memorabilia, a Stearman Flight and a 50/50 drawing.

The Stearman Foundation Board of Directors and Golf Outing Committee Co-Chairs (Jeanne Conlon, Becky Patterson, and Diane Stickle) extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Lake Bracken Country
Club, Phillip Wolford, participants, hole sponsors, and volunteers. The event would not have been possible without all your support.

We hope you will join us next year for the 25th Annual National Stearman Foundation golf outing on Monday, May 6 th , 2024, at Lake Bracken Country Club.
