Aaron grew up inthe suburbs of Denver, Colorado, where he enjoyed mountain flying and studied Aviation Technology at the Metro State University of Denver concentrating in Airport Management and Air Traffic Control. Aaron met his wife while they both worked for the Airport Authority at Centennial Airport before moving to the Galesburg area to help on his wife's family farm. Since moving to the area, Aaron has become a Certificated Flight Instructor, co-founded Galesburg's EAA Chapter and serves on the Airport Advisory Commission. WhenAaron and his wife are not in the fields farming corn and soybeans, they enjoy spending time with their son and building their Kit fox aircraft.
