Putting It Back in Flying Condition
Larry Tobin spent two years restoring his 1927 Stearman C3B after acquiring it in 2006, and flew it across the United States and back before a crash in September 2008. He’s already at work rebuilding the plane, and says “… it will fly again in two years.”
