National Stearman Fly-In – Day 6

Larry Tobin, Colbert, WA, displays two of the three awards awarded to him by the National Stearman Fly-In for restoration of a 1927 Stearman C3B. The honors -- Best Civilian, Deed Levy and Silver Legacy awards -- were presented Saturday night (Sept, 6, 2008) during the Fly-In’s annual banquet at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport. Presenting the awards to winners was Taryn Pemberton, whose husband Ryan did a good share of the work on Tobin’s Stearman.
