National Stearman Fly-In – Day 6

A Stearman N2S-4 (Navy) flies above the Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport Saturday afternoon (Sept. 6, 2008) during the 37th National Stearman Fly-In. The Navy and Army Air Corps both used the Stearman company’s Model 75 as a primary trainer just before and during World War II. A total of 71 Stearman s were flown to the Gales burg airport in 2008 for the annual Fly-In.
