National Stearman Fly-In – Day 4
Rain drips off the wing of a Stearman tied down on the flight-line at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport, and it and soaked a lawn ornament planted in the sod by a pilot. The downpour and much cooler temperatures compared to those at the start of the week caused cancellation of most activities scheduled for Thursday (Sept. 4, 2008) during the National Stearman Fly-In.
