National Stearman Fly-In – Day 4
More than 21/2 inches of rain in a 36-hour left the flight-line at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport soggy and quiet Thursday (Sept. 4, 2008) during the 37th National Stearman Fly-In. Few people ventured near the World War II-era trainers, most of which sported canvas covers over engines and cockpits.
