National Stearman Fly-In – Day 6

Todd Harders, Cairo, NE, briefs participants in the National Stearman Fly-In’s formation flying contest on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 12, at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport. Formation teams spent hours practicing in the days before the competition. Judges rate the 4-plane teams on three formations and on their “break” from the last pass before landing.
