National Stearman Fly-In – Day 4

A series of technical seminars during National Stearman Fly-Ins at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport address the maintenance and operation of the World War II primary trainers. On Thursday morning, Sept. 10, the subject was basic formation flying. John Ockenfels, Swisher, IA, was among the speakers. Seminar sponsor was Stearman Flight, an organization dedicated to improving formation flying skills and safety.
