National Stearman Fly-In – Day 1

First-timers at the National Stearman Fly-In this year include, from left, Robert Preston, Canton, Ohio; Steven Spector, Glenville, IL; Tye Hammerle, Kenosha, WI, and Glenn Smith, Frisco, TX. The 38th annual Fly-In started Monday with 37 airplanes already on the ground –- just two fewer than the record 39 on Monday morning of the event in 2001.
