Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame Inductee
Thomas E. “Tom” Lowe, 68, of Crystal Lake, IL, is one of four men selected for induction into the Illinois Aviation Hall of Fame in 2009. Lowe co-founded the National Stearman Fly-In, held each year in Galesburg, IL, with the late P. James “Jim” Leahy of Galesburg. The 38th Fly-In will be held Sept. 7-13, 2009.
